Roisin grew up in Scotland (with a Gaelic name that’s pronounced Rosheen) and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Paisley. She moved to Atlanta to get her M.A. in Political Science from Georgia State University and decided to settle in the city. She has worked in fundraising for almost 20 years, has been at the Aquarium since 2010, and currently serves as the Director of Development. In this role, she raises money to support the Aquarium’s mission programs: Research & Conservation, Education, and Military Salute. Roisin lives in Atlanta with her husband Anthony and their two daughters, Sophia and Jane.
