Our newest tour offering takes a deeper dive and expands upon your experience from the Explore the Surface tour. We’ll take you to additional areas to learn more about Georgia Aquarium’s impressive past, our ever-changing present, and how we strive to lead the aquarium industry into the future.
*Please note: This offering is designed for guests 7 years old and up (children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult). Our Dive Deeper tour will not visit the topsides of our exhibits and is designed to enhance the visit of Georgia Aquarium enthusiasts.

Tour Information
Tour designed for guests 7 years old and up.
Tour length is 60 minutes.
High heels, food, drinks, and strollers are not permitted on this tour.
There are no restroom stops along the tour route.
Cameras are allowed, but video recording and live streaming are not allowed.
Content is subject to change without notice based on operational needs.
All tours can be booked by individuals or by a group. Our Dive Deeper tour is not recommended for guests younger than 7 years old. Any guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
All participants will meet at the desk on the second floor near the Coastline Café. A Behind the Seas Tour sign will identify the tour desk. The tour guide will arrive 10 minutes before the tour start time to check in guests. All tours leave on time. Guests arriving up to 5 minutes late will be escorted to join the rest of the tour already in progress. No refunds will be issued for missing part or all of a tour.
We recommend you participate in this tour after you’ve attended an Explore the Surface tour. You will not visit the topside of Ocean Voyager, but you will see many areas not visited on our Explore the Surface tour. This includes areas such as our Filtration Room, Veterinary Suite, and other animal holding spaces.
Please note: Our Dive Deeper tour may access areas that have higher levels of visual and auditory stimulation. If you have a sensitivity to these stimuli, you may consider visiting our Guest Relations Desk to borrow a sensory bag prior to your tour. Date changes must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled time of the tour. We do not offer refunds for guests who do not attend their scheduled tour.
Due to the nature of caring for animals, Georgia Aquarium reserves the right to modify, cancel and/or reschedule programs without notice. Reasonable accommodations will be made to reschedule guests as effectively as possible.
