Have you always wanted to join a Georgia Aquarium sleepover but haven’t had the chance? Now’s your opportunity! Before we officially launch our newly updated sleepover program in January, we’re offering staff and volunteers an exclusive discounted rate to participate in trial runs.

Know Before Booking

  • The minimum age requirement for sleepovers is 7 years old.
  • Large groups should have a 1 to 10 adult to child ratio at minimum.
  • Any guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult of 21 years of age or older.
  • You will be required to stay with your touring group throughout the entire program time: 7:15pm – 9:45am.

  • Do you have a Program Handbook for my Sleep Under the Sea sleepover?

    Yes!  You can view or download a copy of the handbook here.  The link to this handbook is included in your confirmation email after you’ve purchased your sleepover.

  • What Is the Minimum Age Allowed?

    Minimum age requirement for sleepovers, unless otherwise specified (i.e. middle school, adult) is 7 years old. Any guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult of 21 years of age or older. Adult sleepovers have a minimum age of 21+.

  • Where Do Guests Sleep?

    As our guests, you will have the opportunity to sleep in front of one of our magnificent exhibits in galleries such as:

    ·  Southern Company River Scout

    ·  Sharks! Predators of the Deep Gallery

  • Does the Georgia Aquarium provide showers for Sleepover guests?

    Showers are not available during our overnight events.

  • Can I Request a Sleeping Area?

    We cannot guarantee sleeping locations. Assignments are made after all guests have checked in, and are based upon the group make-up, size and needs. Additionally, partial or entire galleries may be unavailable due to other activities and/or animal care taking place.

  • What Meals Are Included?

    Please be advised that all Sleepovers WILL NOT include dinner but will include a bedtime snack and a breakfast option. Coastline Café will be open daily until 30 minutes before Aquarium closes for guests wishing to purchase food before their sleepover. Large groups are encouraged to plan ahead and purchase café vouchers in advance for $13 each.

  • Can I buy shirts that look like the ones staff wears?

    Georgia Aquarium is glad to offer a variety of branded apparel in our gift shops, however we do not sell Aquarium team member uniforms. For the safety of our guests, team and animals, it is important that we are always able to discern between members of the public and Georgia Aquarium staff and volunteers.

  • How Soon Should We Reserve Spots?

    Sleepovers sell out fast! We encourage all guests to make reservations at least one month in advance.
