Georgia Aquarium marks two decades of wonder with an exciting 2025 event calendar featuring immersive wellness experiences, show-stopping themed parties, and family-friendly seasonal activations – there’s something for everyone! Seasonal Activations

NEW Summer Event – Summer; every day starting May 23-August 17
Summer comes alive with an all-new, daily summer glow event and our bioluminescence exhibit. Immerse yourself in an enchanting evening event highlighting the dazzling bioluminescence of marine life, like corals and jellies. Through blacklight theatrics and glowing decor, the Aquarium will transform into an immersive glowing wonderland for all ages. Guests will become part of the experience with interactive activities like glow-in-the-dark face painting, audience participation, and live performances. This event ties into our all-new bioluminescence exhibit opening in May, where guests can experience bioluminescence in action as they light up to motion, sound, and air. Access included in Aqua Pass.

Haunted Seas – Fall
Get ready for spooky fun in October with Haunted Seas! This Halloween activation features costumed characters, trick-or-treating, themed animal presentations, and so much more. It’s the perfect event for families to get in the spooky spirit all month. Access included in Aqua Pass.

Holidays at Georgia Aquarium – Winter
From November until January, celebrate the season with Holidays at Georgia Aquarium. Stroll through festive holiday lights, enjoy a daily tree lighting, and snap a photo with Santa himself. It’s a magical time to visit and make lasting memories! Access included in Aqua Pass.

NEW Sea Lion Presentation

Daily

This spring, we will debut our all-new, game show-themed Sea Lion Presentation! Our gallery and theater will be renamed ‘Truist Sea Lion Studios’. This interactive game-show experience invites guests to learn more about our lively California sea lions complete with trivia and rescue stories. Before the show begins, guests will feel like part of the production as they wait in a backstage-inspired pre-show area designed to look like the behind-the-scenes hub of a bustling TV studio. It’s an unforgettable blend of entertainment and animal wonder—don’t miss the premiere slated for April 25!

Wellness by the Water 

Monthly

Relax and unwind with our Wellness by the Water series. This rotating program offers yoga, sound baths, and other fitness classes in a serene setting surrounded by some of the Aquarium’s most iconic animals. Whether you’re stretching alongside our peaceful beluga whales or relaxing to soothing sounds as whale sharks swim by, this monthly wellness experience is a treat for your mind, body, and soul. 

Sips Under the Sea

Quarterly

Our renowned 21+ cocktail party, Sips Under the Sea, is a guest favorite throughout the year with unique themes to keep the fun going! Enjoy live music, signature cocktails, and exclusive after-hours access to the Aquarium—exclusively for our 21+ guests! Each event features a creative theme, so whether you’re dressing up for a Valentine’s date night or enjoying a retro pop star night, there’s always something new to experience. This event regularly sells out, so get your tickets early!

20,000 Beers Under the Sea – June 7, 2025
Raise your glass for a good cause at this 21+ beer and wine-tasting event! Sample a variety of craft beers, wines, and delicious bites while supporting marine conservation efforts.

Aqua Vino – September 26, 2025
Indulge in an evening of fine wine and culinary delights at Aqua Vino. This premier fundraising event features exquisite wine pairings, a silent auction, gourmet food stations, and the opportunity to mingle with Aquarium experts while exploring our exhibits after hours. 

New Year’s Eve – December 31, 2025
Ring in the New Year at Georgia Aquarium’s exclusive VIP celebration! Enjoy after-hours access to galleries, a live DJ, a dance floor, gourmet cuisine by Wolfgang Puck Catering, and a premium open bar. Celebrate with a midnight countdown surrounded by stunning aquatic views. Proceeds support vital ocean conservation efforts.
