Explore the Haunted Seas
Explore the spooky side of the ocean at Georgia Aquarium’s Haunted Seas! Now through October 31, visitors can immerse themselves in Halloween-themed experiences while discovering the mysteries throughout the Aquarium. Our Ocean Voyager exhibit has been transformed into a haunted shipwreck where ghostly pirates roam. Meet the serenading siren of our Tropical Diver gallery’s Mermaids Grotto. Complete your journey through our River Scout gallery by escaping the Haunted Jungle Cruise, where a surprise hides behind every corner. With special activities for all ages, Haunted Seas is the perfect way to celebrate the season in a unique seasonal setting!
Trick-or-Treating
Join us for Trick-or-Treating on Saturdays and Sundays from 2-6 p.m.! Explore Ocean Voyager, Tropical Diver, and River Scout, where immersive stations offer fun for the whole family. Follow the X’s on the floor to discover hidden trick-or-treat spots, and don’t forget to grab your themed bags before embarking on this thrilling journey. Collect goodies as you adventure through the Aquarium’s depths, making lasting Halloween memories!
Haunted Seas Story Time
New this year, the Aquarium brings you Haunted Seas Story Time in collaboration with The Book Worm Book Store and Brave and Kind Bookshop. Every Saturday in October from 3–5 p.m., kids ages 3-8 can enjoy exciting Halloween book readings in our Rotunda! The event will feature local authors and storytellers, with books available for purchase. It’s perfect for a festive family outing during the Halloween season!
Spooktacular Halloween Presentations
Need even more Halloween fun? Our seasonally themed animal presentations are a must-see, featuring some of the ocean’s most fascinating creatures – dolphins and sea lions. You’ll learn about these unique animals while our expert trainers share fun, spine-tingling facts. Perfect for families and Halloween fans, these special presentations offer a unique way to get close to these animals with a spooky twist. And don’t miss out on the splash zone seating!
Sips Under the Sea: Halloween Party
Prepare for an unforgettable night at Georgia Aquarium’s Sips Under the Sea: Halloween Party! It’s double the trouble with two events on October 27th and 31st. This adults-only (21+) event offers a thrilling evening with cocktails, themed music, and an unforgettable Halloween atmosphere. Come dressed in your best costume to compete in the contest and enjoy access to the Aquarium after hours. It’s a perfect way to celebrate Halloween in style while surrounded by endless photo ops! Tickets are available now.
