Join us for Georgia Aquarium’s 21+ science lecture series, Science on Tap, on Thursday, August 1st. We’re offering a reception with light hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine and a fascinating presentation beginning at 6:00pm. Following the talk, there will be time for a Q&A session.
This month’s Science on Tap will dive into a fascinating talk by author Dr. Doug Mader and his decades of experience as a veterinarian. He will answer the questions of how he got his start in veterinary medicine, as well as why he wrote his book – The Vet at Noah’s Arc – and what’s next in his career! Signed copies of his book will be available onsite for those who donate to Georgia Aquarium’s research and conservation initiatives.

Yoga by the Water offers yoga classes led by Dancing Dogs Yoga instructors which are designed to challenge students of all experience levels. Sessions take place in our magnificent Oceans Ballroom, offering incredible views of manta rays and whale sharks while you challenge your mind and body. If your fitness goal is to become a happier and healthier version of yourself, this is the studio for you!
Tickets are $29.99 and include a 60-minute class and complimentary parking in Georgia Aquarium’s garage. Doors open at 6:00 pm; class begins at 6:30 pm. All proceeds from Yoga by the Water benefit Georgia Aquarium’s research and conservation initiatives.

Seating is unreserved and available as guests arrive.
The new Explorers Cove promises an interactive experience that combines expansive touch pools and immersive technology that will give guests an opportunity to be up close with animals like never before. The all-new experience will feature two interactive touch pools where guests can respectfully engage with sharks, rays, guitarfish, and sturgeon.
